My practice is totally client-centered and my focus is on you and your success. If you are in need of an attorney in San Antonio or West Texas who can and will assist you professionally and confidentially, contact me and let’s discuss your legal matter.

Real Estate Transactions & Litigation.

I represent buyers and sellers in all real estate transactions. In addition, when disputes arise, I help my clients find solutions, whether through informal settlement, mediation, arbitration or by filing or defending litigation in suits to quiet title, actions regarding adverse possession, trespass to try title and enforcement of contracts.

Family Law, Divorce & Children's Issues.

A divorce may be the most difficult personal matter you ever experience—but I work hard to make sure that the legal side of your divorce works in your favor and that you are guided through the process with care.

While I believe that the best way to resolve issues in a contested divorce is through mediation, I also believe that thorough preparation of your case as if you were going to trial is a must for a successful outcome. Thorough preparation for your divorce begins before I even file the case, and success is dependent upon a thoughtful partnership between client and attorney.

My family law practice involves the following areas:

Contested Divorce
Uncontested Divorce
Divorce Litigation
Child Support Establishment and Enforcement
Paternity Cases
Adoptions
Second Parent Adoptions
Grandparents’ Access to Children
Modification of Child Support and Custody Orders
Annulments
Guardianship
Name Changes
Possession, Visitation and Access to Children

Wills, Trusts & Disability Planning . Estate Planning.

One of the most important legal documents everyone will need is a Will. Whether you have a simple estate, or one which requires complex estate planning, I can assist you with the orderly transfer of your estate and the protection of your loved ones.

In addition, everyone without exception needs to prepare for the possibility of becoming disabled and unable to care for themselves. Proper and thoughtful planning can prevent the need for expensive guardianship proceedings in case you are disabled. This can be easily done through the preparation of disability planning documents including trusts, health care directives, and powers of attorney. I have practiced in this area since 1990 and am here to assist you with your estate planning. If you have a child or family member who is disabled and receives government benefits, I can assist with a holistic plan to help provide for them when you are not able to do so, including the preparation of Special Needs Trusts. I can also assist married couples who might need to qualify for Medicaid and other government benefits in the future. Careful planning now can make future problems much more manageable.

If a parent, spouse, or loved one has passed away, with or without a will, there are legal consequences that must be taken care of, and deadlines which must be met. Make sure you know what the law requires of you when a family member passes on.
